Vincent Van Gogh is the artist who I most identify with. He was able to express emotions, ideas, narrative, and so much more through his exquisite brushwork and choice of colors. I aim to do the same, not because I think I'll ever be as great as he was, but because I am at heart, an introvert. It is my hope that viewers of my art will look beyond what may seem inaccurate representations, but instead, focus on what the colors, textures, imagery, context, and depth of paint attempt to convey.
I strive to show viewers different and deeper ways to look at my art, and in doing so, look at reality, and themselves in the process.
